CoherentLight is a blog about networks, applications and getting one to deliver the other in the best possible way. It looks at the technology of networks, applications, and performance optimization.

CoherentLight is so named because it’s what’s emitted by the lasers that send data across fiber-optic networks, a light of a single coherent wavelength (colour),  and because coherence of information can be obtained when light is shone on it.

Content delivery is the reason that networks exist, and without content and applications, the network has no need to exist. CoherentLight is both content, and the delivery mechanism.
