Fujitsu use multi-tenant Silver Peak to host SD-WAN solutions

Fujitsu has added a Silver Peak SD-WAN environment to allow service providers to deliver pre-built platforms for their enterprise customers. The service combines Fujitsu’s consulting and managed network services alongside the Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnect platform. Service providers leverage the combination, quickly deploying an SD-WAN service for customers, without spending months developing their solution. SD-WAN as a service allows providers to focus on developing their market, rather than managing the technical deployment and operations.

The service allows customers to retain their existing network connectivity, supporting both MPLS, Internet, WiFi WANs and LTE. Fujitsu’s consulting team works with the service provider to deliver a go-to-market strategy; customising the solution to render a unique service offering. The SD-WAN service uses Silver Peak’s service provider platform to offer zero-touch deployment using virtual or physical appliances. Using the Unity OrchestratorSP platform allows Fujitsu’s NOC to provide 365x24x7 life-cycle management of the solution for the service provider.

The press-release (Fujitsu and Silver Peak Accelerate Delivery of SD-WAN Services) is available from Silver Peak and Fujitsu.
