China Telecom partners with Silver Peak for Managed SD-WAN

The rise of the telecom provided SD- service continues. The latest news is that partners with Silver Peak for Managed services. China Telecom Unfortunately, we could not get stock quote HKG:0728 this time. is using Silver Peak‘s Unity Edge Connect to offer a platform for their SD-WAN service.

According to Silver Peak's press-release, China Telecom will use the platform to create a tiered managed SD-WAN service. Not all customers need all the features of an SD-WAN solution. Using tiers and SD-WAN's ability to have features enabled remotely allows flexibility in the service. Westcon-Comstor has used Silver Peak's RESTful API interface to embed the functions of the EdgeConnect in the CT Netcare tooling.
