SDxCentral: Top SD-WAN Vendors Based on Revenue in Q1 2017

SDxCentral is reporting information from IHS Markit from one of their reports. This looks at the Top SD-WAN vendors by revenue in the first quarter of this year. The total market revenue for SD-WAN in the first quarter of the year is $38.5m.

This is split across the vendors with Viptela is in the lead with $7.7m of revenue and 21% of the market share. Velocloud has 14% of the share with $4.9m revenue. Talari Networks is in third place with $3.8m revenue and 11% of the market share.

Cisco Cisco Systems, Inc. 47,10 +0,39 +0,83% is in fourth place, with $2.6m of revenue and 7% market share. This might explain in part why Cisco are buying Viptela.
