SDxCentral: Viptela Updates SD-WAN Fabric to Enhance Cloud Usage

SDxCentral are reporting that Viptela have extended their SD-WAN solution with Cloud Onramp. This was previously available for IaaS services in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.

Now it takes adds the ability to support PaaS services such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and others. Creating a virtual end-point manages the traffic to these cloud applications across the Viptela fabric.

Cisco have expressed an interest in purchasing Viptela for $610m
