SDxCentral: Arris Expects its Acquisition of Brocade assets to advance it’s growth

SDxCentral reports that Arris are expecting to grow from the Brocade IDX switch and Ruckus Wireless acquisition from Broadcom.

I believe that this will almost certainly be the case.. The Ruckus business has some big names under it’s belt, and was one of the reasons that Brocade actually brought them in the first place. In addition, the switch business allows them to drive inwards a layer in their service provider business, as well as provide the infrastructure core on which Ruckus deployments (and their current carrier-grade Wifi solutions) can be built on, increasing the value of deal they make in future.
