AT&T working with Velocloud to deliver SD-WAN

AT&T T 17,13 +0,22 +1,30% has unveiled its SD-WAN Hybrid Networking Strategy. They are collaborating with Velocloud to deliver an SD-WAN offering for their customers. In 2017, AT&T will be offering a hybrid networking solution using different types of network access.

AT&T provides a seamless evolution path to SD-WAN for their VPN customers, and are targeting both customers with varying reliability, performance and bandwidth needs, as well as customers with site similarity. This last group is being targeted for the Velocloud over-the-top solution.The first group looks a little more customized, using one of the other SD-WAN technologies that AT&T is evolving as part of its SD-WAN eco-system.
