IBM adds four datacentres to bluemix cloud.

IBM has announced that it is adding 4 new datacenters to its IBM bluemix infrastructure.

Two new datacentres are in London, United Kingdom, one in San Jose, United States, and one in Sydney, Australia. This brings the total to 59 sites across 19 countries. Applications within the datacentres can take advantage of the over 160 APIs and services covering AI, blockchain, big data, and IoT requirements. The London sites are with 40km of each other, allowing split workloads across the pair. Security meets GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) requirements.

He is currently supporting a major SD-WAN vendor on the implementation of an environment supporting a major global fast-food chain.
