Digital Realty Completes DFT merger

Digital Realty Completes DFT merger

A press release from Digital Realty completes the merger announced in July. (Digital Realty to acquire DuPont Fabros Technology). The announcement (Digital Realty Completes Merger With DuPont Fabros) also moves two DFT folks to the DLR board. Michael A. Coke and John T. Roberts Jr. now add additional real-estate experience to the DLR board. Hosting is more a real-estate than a technology business these days.

Also a blog post from Digital Realty’s CEO William Stein (Our Merger with Dupont Fabros Technology: Growth Without Limits) in which he states that the new organisation is now the ninth largest REIT publicly traded.
