The Register are reporting that Ofcom has fined BT £42m for not correctly compensating other providers when high-speed links failed to meet delivery timeframes, by using a process called Deemed Consent.
Currently Ofcom has no information on it’s website for this. Additionally Ofcom have also fined BT an additional £300,000 for failing to provide information. Read BT’s press release on Deemed Consent and the Ofcom findings.
