The saga of the dashboard lights continues..
Traveling to / from work today, got the low oil light (red) again. Not a happy bunny, especially as when refilling last night I checked the dipstick. Am very nearly at the MAX mark.. (still got the olde style dipstick with no dimples!).
Yet light comes on when revving at >7k for a longish while (yes, just as well the company fuels my beast). It goes instantly once you change up, and the revs fall below 5k. Seems once the engine is upto temperature, you can get this to come on and off at will. Just rev fast and hard. Light comes on. Change up, light goes off. Change down, rev a little while.. Light on again.
Ho hum..
