The Motley Fool: CenturyLink and Level3 shareholders approve merger

The upcoming merger of CenturyLink and Level3 has gained shareholder approval, stock and investment site The Motley Fool reports.

Having also gained approval from various state authorities, it now only requires federal approval from the FCC, DoJ and DHS (because of Level3’s overseas footprint). According to the Fool, the market is discounting the possibility for the government to deny this merger. So it’s likely to go ahead.
